I want to get to know you — your hopes, dreams, strengths, and the values that matter most to you. Together, we’ll explore what’s standing in the way of becoming the best version of yourself or building the relationships you desire.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and growth-oriented. Through empathetic listening, thoughtful questions, and practical insight, I help clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and confidence in navigating life’s challenges. My goal is to make personal growth and lasting change feel approachable and achievable.

I believe everyone has a different journey, and together we can craft what fits best for you. I draw on narrative practices, self-awareness work, self-acceptance work, and exploration of attachment styles to create a safe space for you to heal and grow.

My approach

For my whole life, I have been drawn to stories. I spent many years writing my own — from academic essays to articles to screenplays. Storytelling has gotten me to the core of who someone is—what drives and blocks them. What do people tell themselves? What do they tell others?

Through my experience as a client, I learned that the key to liberation from an unwanted story is feeling understood. As a gay man, this resonated with me since so many ideas I had about myself were internalized from my cultural upbringing. In raising my own child, I have seen how emotional attunement and encouragement to be one’s actual self impact social-emotional development. I believe it is vital to help someone embrace their authentic selves — it’s crucial for mental health and emotional thriving.

I’m originally from New York, and while I have learned the ways of the West, I will always have a special place in my heart for bagels, pizza, the subway, and being direct. Outside of therapy, I enjoy catching up on the latest TV, traveling, and spending time with my family.
